Now Available! The GPS-4100M GPS AVL Box is part of PRYME's second generation of GPSMIC products. The GPS-4100M adds GPS location reporting capability to any mobile radio operating on your voice radio system. The PRYME AVL Box interfaces with your mobile radio through the radio's accessory port (on most radios) and allows the user to use the radio's stock hand microphone. The PRYME AVL Box sends data reports over the voice radio channel which allow the dispatch operator to know the current location of each unit. Because the system integrates into your existing voice radio system no additional channels or licensing is needed and there is NO MONTHLY FEE. The unit works with both conventional and trunked analog radio systems.

- The PRYME GPS-4100M GPSBOX adds over-the-air GPS location reporting features to a mobile or fixed (base) station two-way radio.
- The GPSBOX is compatible with the PRYME GPSMIC system.
- Works with virtually any mobile two-way radio including conventional and trunked.
- Integrates into your existing non-compressed voice radio system; does not require a dedicated data channel. Location reports are sent as short audible data bursts at the end of the user's voice transmissions.
- Internal GPS receiver. SMA style jack allows connection of an external GPS patch antenna (included). GPS location data is typically accurate to within 10 meters.
- Onboard memory in each GPSBOX can record and store up to 1,300 location reports, equivalent to over 100 hours of location history assuming one location report per five minute period.
- Allows the radio operator to use the mobile radio's standard microphone
- Radio Cable layout varied by radio model. The GPSBOX connects to most two-way radios using only the radio's accessory jack. Some radio models require connection to a combination of the accessory jack, microphone jack, and/or external speaker jack.
- Integrated mini-USB jack allows the connection of a computer interface cable.
- Base-Enabled feature allows GPSBOX users to view location reports graphically when the unit is connected to a PC running PRYME GPSMIC Tools software.
- The GPSBOX as the same configurable reporting options as the GPS-4100P GPSMIC: PTT, Elapsed Time, Relative Distance, Fixed Distance, and Location Polling by the base station are all available.

The PRYME GPS-4100M GPS Box requires a Radio Interface Cable (sold separately) to connect to a mobile radio. Radio Cable layout varied by radio model. The GPS BOX connects to most two-way radios using only the radio's accessory jack. Some radio models require connection to a combination of the accessory jack, microphone jack, and/or external speaker jack. Some radio models may require reprogramming using the manufacturer's Computer Programming Software and cable.
